(a) - Geostationary orbit is geosynchronous orbit with circular and zero inclination which is directly above the equator at an altitude of 22,236 miles Knot which is 35,786 km. This geosynchronous orbit period of satellite is similar time period of sidereal rotation period of Earth. The Geostationary satellites appear to be stationary from earth but their angular velocity is same as that of earth. 2. (a) - Adjournment motion is introduced in the parliament which serves as exceptional procedure which leads to discuss definite matter of urgent public importance thereby requiring support of atleast 50 members 3. (c) - Indian constitution, a person can be appointed as Governor of more than two States at the same time where his salary gets shared among the respective states. Judges of High Court are appointed by will of President, Governor and Chief Justice of High Court. Constitution does not place any reason for which, Governor gets removed by president. In case of Union Territory with legislative setup, Chief Minister gets appointed by the President not by Lt. Governor 4. (a) -Ten Degree Channel is a channel which is approximately 10 km wide which separates Little Andaman and Car Nicobar Islands in Bay of Bengal. Little Andaman and Car Nicobar Islands together form the Union Territory of India as Andaman and Nicobar islands. The Channel runs along East West orientation and lies on 10 degree line of latitude, North of equator 5. (a) - In order to pass any Bill, the government requires support from both the Houses. Under article 108 in Indian constitution, there is a provision of joint sitting for finalising ordinary bills/financial bills and not money bills/amendment bills.
