The forms of art found from various sites of the civilization include sculptures, seals, pottery, gold and silver jewellery, terracotta figures, etc.
Bronze was used in preparing sculpture. Iron was not known to the people of Indus valley civilization.

The rock-cut cave carved at Barabar hills near Gaya in Bihar is known as the Lomus Rishi cave. The cave was patronised by Ashoka for the Ajivika sect. The Ajivikas were an ancient sect of Indian ascetics who believed in fatalism, karma and liberation.

The seals discovered from the sites of Indus valley civilization carry beautiful figures of animals such as Rhinoceros, Tiger, Elephant, Bison, Goat, Buffalo etc.
