India and Israel have completed 30 years of diplomatic relations. The journey was tough as both countries had to operate below the radar but relationship stood the test of time. The current developments in middle-east have allowed India to take its ties to the next level.

- Energy security Energy security in form of petroleum was the main concern for India to take ties with Israel to next level. With Arab countries in good humor, India can go ahead without worrying.
- Peaceful resolution The accord has ensured that the Palestine issue is resolved peacefully without any future wars. This will be in line with India’s support for two-state solution.
- Technological developments Israel is a pioneer of defence and cyber technology. The arms and devices procured from the country have helped India in fight against terror.
- Terrorism Arab countries have realized the effects of radical Islamic terror. India, Israel and Arab nations can operate in tandem to uproot terrorist networks.
- Agriculture Agriculture technology of Israel is said to be one of the best. In addition, irrigation technology has given them dividends. India can further collaborate with Israel.
- Regional security Israel, India and Arab countries can work together to negate unrest in Red Sea area. This is necessary for continuance of trade between east and the west.
