Ethics - Case Study - Amit is an officer in charge of handling charges against corruption in health department. One day he receives a complaint alleging widespread irregularities in distributing free medicines to poor. Upon investigation, it is found that Amit’s boss is the main culprit behind the corruption. Amit confronts his boss regarding the charges and demands clarifications. Instead of denying charges, boss asks Amit to bury the evidences and in return Amit will be promoted. Amit does not want to be a party to corruption but is hesitant to act against his boss. What are the issues involved in the incident that Amit has to consider before acting?
